World Wide Mind

The program "World Wide Mind" is a television program produced by PBS in January 2007. This program is a classic example of propaganda and predictive programming directed at the population as a conditioning exercise to create the impression in the mind of the viewer that the brain chip is both beneficial and inevitable.
World Wide Mind Part 1 of 6
In the first part we are shown all the wonderful benefits the brain chip can and is having for the disabled - in this case those with brain injuries and hearing loss. Well who can be against that - it is in fact a good thing for those people. But this is a psychological trick to bring down your defenses so you will accept without thinking what is presented for general use later on (we know from US National Science Foundation meeting that the chip has already been perfected and the only obstacle for its implementation is public acceptance).
Throughout the show we see the use of both a person promoting its benefit and a person opposing it. This is an example of the use of Hegelian Dialectics where both sides of an argument are given to you and you are expected to chose one side or the other. Nevermind that many other possible outcomes exist, you are expected to choose a side in the debate.
In order to 'help' you decide which side to choose they present each side in a particular light. This is a very old technique and works very effectively on most people. In this case, we see the modern woman talking about progress and all the wonderful experiences she's had and on the other hand we have the curmudgeonly old man telling us how he wants to hold onto his pain, disease, crisis and a wide array of negative experiences any human might experience. This creates a condition in the viewer's mind where they would chose the wonderous happy world over the deprived, starved and painful world presented as the alternative. Who in their right mind would choose pain and deprivation over ecstacy and instant information access - this of course is the obvious conclusion they expect the viewer to reach.
Particularly striking was the inclusion of the author of a Brave New World, Aldous Huxley, as the character opposing the advances and as such a Luddite. A nice joke on us all I guess. The message being don't think or worry about what this senile old man has to say, he's an old fashioned alarmist and you should ignore him.
The problem is that he described accurately in many ways the future world that the elite desire for the masses. A totalitarian, elitist, scientifically run society where everything is controlled. Since this is the desired outcome, there is no doubt that ridiculing his vision in the minds of the public was an important aspect of the program.
It is sad and unfortunate that the scientists interviewed didn't realize that the warning given by them about the worst possible outcome is exactly what is intended by the ruling elite - an outcome where there is a complete loss of individuality and the submersion in a mass/hive mind.
This program simply represents one of the first that will undoubtedly follow to condition the public and particularly the young growing up today into accepting a brain chip as a natural part of the evolution of man and a wonderful experience. And we have also seen this type of conditioning taking place on YTV's cartoons and in various science fiction shows where the hero has a brain chip or other enhancements intended to make the children think this is normal and want them for themselves.
As with all of these advances, there is the stated reason and the real reason. In this case the stated reason is the help the disabled, elderly and infirm and the real reason is the elite's utopian ideal, the permanent enslavement of humanity. Once they have convinced enough of the population to accept a chip and demonstrated its wonderous benefits over the course of a decade or two or more, they will turn the switch on and it will be the end of free humanity under which we will all be controlled and commanded from a central computer.
As we know, the elite must convince us to accept what they plan for us. This they achieve through heavy propaganda in the media and education system. To stop it is very simple, we just say no, tell our friends and families to say no and tell our children to say no. Because saying yes to an implanted microchip will mean the end of free humanity. And you can bet your ass that the elite won't take a chip, at least not the same chip as you, under any circumstances because they must keep their ability to reason and their instinct for self preservation.
