Hydrogenated Oils Are Toxic

April 7, 2007
Another prevalent danger we all face is hydrogenated oils which seem to be equally prevalent in processed foods as soy. Yes, there is yet another toxic substance introduced into the food supply by your government. And it is hidden and simultaneously very prevalent. Read the labels on the food you buy.
It is everywhere.
What are Hydrogenated Oils? "Hydrogenated oils are highly refined by an industrial process of forcing a hydrogen molecule into the molecule chain thereby changing its structure to that of an EFA (essential fatty acid), and contain toxic by-products as well as trans-fatty acids."
You might think you're safe buying food that has "no trans-fats" but are you really? Well, yes and no. Trans-fat is in fact a partially hydrogenated fat/oil, so
if there are no trans fats AND no hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated fats/oils in what you're buying then you are safe.
Some facts on the topic:
Research studies show conclusively these deadly oils cause non-insulin dependent type II diabetes, or hyperinsulinemia. This is a disease which can eventually burn out the pancreas and cause insulin dependent diabetes.
There is a 40% increase in breast cancer in women eating hydrogenated oils
Research studies from many researchers have shown that there is no increase in heart disease when normal amounts of regular saturated fat are consumed. However, research has shown the ill effects of hydrogenated oils, whether they be fully or partially hydrogenated. Fully or partially hydrogenated oils are deadly to the body.
