BBC's Global Warming Swindle

March 10, 2007
This doc is well worth watching and forming your own opinion about. The basic premise: global warming is due to solar activity and cloud activity and not from human activity.
Of course, you have to consider the source - the BBC which has at best been deceptive about their 9/11 foreknowledge. Could it be a piece to discredit the environmentalists?
Then there is the counterpoint - Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth. Is he right or is he a globalist working to exploit the fact of global warming?
There is the fundamental tool for understanding these sorts of things. That is, who benefits financially? Clearly, the energy companies and their investors benefit from this doc being true. The environmentalists benefit from it not being true. No answers here.
Hmmm...this seems to smack of Hegelian dialectics in action...and as such an attempt to control the debate. But the controlled debate is still early and as such hard to understand.
It will be interesting to see if one side is publically attacked and discredited. This might point to the truth in a world where the opposite of what we are told tends to turn out to be true in the long run.
It would be instructive to investigate the scientists who appeared in this documentary, their prior publications and their sources of funding. I might try this in the future but forensic accounting is a difficult, time consuming and demanding discipline. As such, it is likely this examination will lead to the truth. But it won't happen soon.
From what I can see science is inexact and always has some errors and anomolies that are hard, if not impossible, to account for. And that many results are open to interpretation.
So, for me this debate is ongoing and undecided. But I am glad to see a debate at least (we will see if the debate is in fact a controlled one or not). Sorry, no answers.
