"A global and social transformation is taking place being manifested through the media, television, corporations, government agencies, the United Nations, and the educational system. The agents of change and the social engineers wish to purge our children's beliefs, value systems, their independence and individuality; their aim being to replace them with more global beliefs, universal values, and interdependence thus molding their fragile little minds, shifting them into group think. All the while with the state trying to undermine parental authority and influence, playing a greater role in a child's life and contributing to the further breakup of the family. There is a battle on for our children's hearts and minds. With the educational system assuming direct control and responsibility for the development of children's attitudes and values, and through mental health screening, the government will be incorporating social and emotional development, a place where it does not seemingly belong. John Dewy, considered to be the father of progressive education said, “the society or groups is most important, and that independent individualists have a form of insanity.” Much of his teachings have become dominant in the American public school system.

In many cases, the government through the public school system now has a bigger influence on a child's belief and values than parents. Children are being conditioned to see everything through a oneness approach where there always needs to be unity and consensus. That is not to say that teamwork and group interaction is not important in a child's development, but ultimately it does not need to always end with all agreeing. Rather, children are being taught to be global citizens with collective thinking strongly encouraged. They are made to think that they must always go along with everyone else, to see themselves as part of a group, where personal worth depends solely on service to the community and the state. The goal is to condition them to willingly conform to new universal values, environmental guidelines, and a global management system. In this new system there is no room for individualism and national sovereignty. Independent thinking has shifted into group think and children's identity and individuality is being sacrificed for the good of the state. A child's loyalty has shifted from the family more so to peer groups, as the teachings have been designed to split families right down the middle. They are being desensitized to contrary values which has lead to a kind of moral confusion. Teachings are now more focused on feelings and emotions, rather then facts, truths, much less logic. They are attempting to rid family installed values and beliefs. Children are being taught that morals and values are that of a personal nature and that they are constantly changing, therefore they need to establish a system that best suits them. There is no room for those who uphold their morals as they are viewed as intolerant and trying to impose them on others. Less and less Western Civilization history is being taught in our schools, with all of society's and cultural failures being its fault and that of religion. Christianity is an obstacle to their teachings and is ultimately blamed for causing most wars, when in many cases it was corrupt individuals and governments using it as a pretext. Even private religious schools in Quebec, Canada are being told by the government that they must teach Darwin's evolutionary theory or they will be shut down. The state wishes to retain control over what goes into a child's mind and it views parents as a threat to their power and influence. It is unfortunate that many graduating students are now unable to think and question things for themselves.

In 2003 President Bush brought the US back into UNESCO after the late President Ronald Regan had taken them out some 20 years previous. Republican Congressman, Ron Paul from Texas introduced a resolution stating that the US should not rejoin. One of his reasons was that UNESCO meddles in the educational affairs of its member countries and has sought to construct a United Nations based curriculum for American schools. It goes much deeper then this. In a 1989 ratification, UNESCO set forth a new charter of rights for children. It stated that parents should not be allowed to shield their children from harmful groups and philosophies. How utterly ridiculous when it is a parent duty and responsibility to protect their children! It also stated in article 13 that, "the child shall have the right to freedom of expression; the right shall include freedom to seek, receive and import information and ideas of all kinds, regardless of frontiers either orally, in writing or in print, in the format of art, or through other media of the child's choice." This is the United Nations attempting to play the role of the parent. This is intended to emancipate children from parental authority within the context of the home and in fact, invest them with rights that could then be enforced against their own parents. In true reality it is not to protect children's rights, but to undermine parental authority and further enhance the powers of the United Nations over them.

The goal United Nations has always been the takeover of the educational system. Through the formation of UNESCO in 1946, it has sought to usurp parental rights and play a more active role in the education and training of our children, thus indoctrinating them for one world government. Julian Huxley its first Director General in the book UNESCO its Purpose and its Philosophy stated that UNESCO, “is to help the emergence of a single world culture, with its own philosophy and background ideas, and with its own broad purposes.” What he is talking about would then lead to the transfer of independent countries national sovereignty to that of a world government. UNESCO also dwells in the area of bioethics dealing with abortion, cloning, euthanasia, and population control, with a goal of setting universal principles. On this issue he said, "much that now is unthinkable may at least become thinkable." It is interesting to note that his brother was Aldous Huxley who wrote the book Brave New World which depicts a Utopian society that has been achieved by social engineering, brainwashing, drugs, and recreational sex. UNESCO has been responsible for the further advancement of international socialism under the banner of science. The new global indoctrination is an almost pseudo religion, with a combination of globalist goals, earth centered beliefs, all preparing the children for political call of action on behalf of the United Nations. Much of this is being done under the guise of environmental protection, peace and security for the world.

The Freedom Initiative Act was passed in 2006 and will call for the mandatory mental health screening of all American children, when it is fully implemented. I have a problem with this on many different levels as it will only increase the control the government has over our children, making the schools the hub for this screening process. I also believe that it is an attempt by Big Pharma to widen the market for their drugs and further promote their use. Many of these expensive anti-depressant and anti-psychotic drugs have been linked to suicidal behavior, agitation, and aggressiveness. Congressman Ron Paul tried to get an amendment passed that would have required parental consent, prior to any government psychological and mental health screening, but it failed. All across the board, parental rights are being pushed aside in many places where the state does not even belong. All this is being done in favor of the creation of a nanny state. This will only open the door for abusive screening for attitudes, values, beliefs and political and social ideology. Any false diagnosis will haunt a child for life. Screening and even forced drugging could eventually be for the entire population. Those children and adults who refuse to conform will be seen as mentally ill, with drugs used to alter their thinking and behavior.

Texas Governor Rick Perry recently passed an executive order that would require girls aged 11-12 to take a vaccine for the human papillomavirus. He completely bypassed the legislature and opposition from parental rights organizations. The HPV vaccine Gardasil will combat the sexually transmitted virus that can cause cervical caner. There was intense lobbying on behalf of Merck & Co., the makers of the vaccine who have some connections to Perry, including campaign contributions. It is the most expensive vaccine ever marketed and is expected to bring in millions in profits, as it goes nationwide. Starting in 2008, Texas girls entering the sixth grade will be mandated to take the vaccine shot, according to Perry. Once again this interferes with parent's rights to make medical decisions for their children. I won't even get into the side effects and dangers that have been already attributed to some vaccines, as that would be another article in itself. I am also worried that by giving out this vaccine at such an early age, it will encourage and maybe increase promiscuous behaviour. As is usually the case, the government states that it will be mandatory and the law, but it is nothing more than a policy and parents are purposely fooled by the wording. They are not informed that they can opt their children out of many of the inoculations programs on the grounds of religious and philosophical reasons. In some cases, school officials even lie saying that if the children don't get vaccinated they will be unable to attend classes. Any forced drugging or inoculations goes well beyond the states role and should be left to the discretion of the parents.

Through the school system, children are being encouraged to inform their teachers and other officials of what goes on in the privacy of their own homes. Of course if there is ever any proof of abuse it needs to be promptly acted upon with state intervention. Every year thousands of children are wrongly taken away from their parents and put into state custody. Through intrusive surveys, assessments and class room discussion groups, children are being persuaded to divulge private information of family members, including religious and political beliefs. They are asked if they get spanked, if their dad owns a gun, if their parents fight a lot and if there is any drugs or alcohol in the house, as well as many other questions. Young children should not be subjected to such lines of questioning, as they are unable to objectively comprehend them. In many cases they would be unable to make sound judgements and anger could easily lead to false accusations. For example they would probably be unable to distinguish between illegal and prescription drugs. Many schools have also created programs where children that report on others students are rewarded. It goes without saying that violence or any unlawful behaviour needs to be reported, but with the whole idea of a reward system, whether it be cash or otherwise, it will only lead to abuse. Unfortunately students who are different or disliked will be targeted. This whole snitch mentality is not the kind of values or skills we want to teach our children. Once we all start spying on one another, it will create an even greater climate of fear and distrust, pitting family and friends against each other.

Social engineering is taking place in our schools, as values and principles installed by parents are being manipulated and pushed aside. The moment a child goes to school, a parent must understand they are surrendering some of their rights and a certain amount of authority. Parents need to become more proactive in their children's education and for this reason, many have chosen to home school. Those who do send their children to public schools need to push for more pro-parent legislation, educational reforms and further involve themselves in the curriculum. They need to take back control of their children's minds, morals and value system and recognize that the state does not know what is best for their children. Many states have discussed mandatory early preschool care, taking children as young as 3-4 away from their mothers, thus getting them into the system at an even earlier age. It is also interesting to note that over half of public school teachers now send their own children to private institutions. The family unit is being bombarded from every direction and much of the feminist movement was actually designed to weaken the social and cultural fabric of our society. Parents, now is the time to act, before more children are sacrificed on the altar of a world government seeking to only further control society by gaining control over our children."
